Norweigan film director and writer known for the horror comedy Dead Snow and the English-speaking film Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. In 2022 he released the film Violent Night which stars David Harbour and John Leguizamo. He attended Bond University. He used to be a plumber. His first film was Kill Buljo in 2007, for which he collaborated with Stig Frode Henriksen. The two continued to work together, coming out with the film Kurt Josef Wagle and the Legend of the Fjord Witch in 2010.
