Actress known for her roles in series like The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story and Queen Sugar. She portrayed Simone in The Rickey Smiley Show. She has also been in Castle, The Vampire Diaries and NCIS. She starred in the 2021 BET+ film A Christmas Wish. As a child, she wrote children's stories. She wrote her first book at the age of seven. At 16, she bypassed her senior year and went directly to college. She earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Creative Writing, Biology, and African Studies.
