She has gained popularity for her cooking tutorials, decor videos, lifestyle tips, walkthrough vlogs and comedic "Iron Cook" productions. She graduated from UCLA in 1983 with her BA in economics. She would subsequently earn her MBA at the Anderson Graduate School of Business at UCLA in entrepreneurship in 1992.
