Best known for founding MTV, this Mississippi-born entrepreneur also served as CEO of Clear Channel Communications, the Six Flags theme parks, Century 21 Real Estate, America Online, and AOL Time Warner. During his teenage years, he secured on-air radio work in his hometown of Brookhaven, Mississippi. Later, he headed radio stations in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and New York City.
