Soccer manager and former player who managed the Scottish Under-21 national team from 1993 to 1998 and was hired at St. Mirren in 2014. As a player, he played eighteen seasons with clubs like Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle United. He began his professional career at Aberdeen in 1967.
