Musician who is known both for his solo and collaborative vocal and instrumental contributions to the soul and R&B genres. He is prominently known for having collaborated with Janelle Monae on her albums The ArchAndroid and The Electric Lady. He was inspired during his childhood to pursue music as both a vocalist and instrumentalist. His first major musical credit came in 2005 as a sound engineer on Big Boi's album Got Purp?, Volume 2.
