Famous for her roles in the early 21st-century martial arts films Chocolate, Raging Phoenix, and The Kick, Vismitananda attained a Third Dan Taekwondo black belt before beginning her acting career. Her career began in 2003, at which point she was discovered and mentored by Thai martial arts film director Prachya Pinkaew.
