Known for both her pop music hit "Sweet Dream" and for her starring roles in such television series as Fated to Love You (on the MBC network) and Wedding (on KBS), this South Korean entertainer also coordinated several humanitarian programs and taught at Beijing Huajia University. She released her debut solo album, First Story, in 2001. Though the recording was not immediately popular, its singles began receiving airtime after she became the star of a situation comedy called New Nonstop.
