Known for founding and heading both SiTV and Maya Entertainment, this Latino film and television producer also established Quepasa Corp, a social network aimed at Hispanic audiences. CNN praised his entrepreneurial efforts, including him in a list of 'Top 50 People Who Matter.' Before beginning his career as a producer, he performed with a band called The Giving Tree and subsequently worked as a stand up comedian. Upon settling in Los Angeles in the early 1990s, he launched a television program called Comedy Compadres.
