Famous as the sarcastic narrator of the British reality series Come Dine with Me, he is also known for his voiceover work on the ITV animated program 2DTV and for his hosting work on the children's quiz show Horrible Histories: Gory Games. By early 2015, he had nearly fifty thousand Twitter followers. Before beginning his work as a comedian, voice actor, and television personality, he was a literature and philosophy student at the University of Warwick. He first appeared on screen in a 1998 episode of the situation comedy How Do You Want Me?
